September First Friday

Join us on First Friday, September 2nd from 6pm–9pm for a Pajama Factory Celebration of the Arts & Local Business. Live music and light refreshments will be provided for the evening, along with a unique offering of Open Studio/Shop events and multiple Gallery exhibitions throughout our campus. This Factory-wide event is free and open to the public!

The Second Annual Regional Student Exhibit will take place in Factory Works Gallery, studio 10, 2nd fl—showcasing fine art students from Mansfield and Bloomsburg Universities and Lycoming College. This exhibition culminates in an end of the month Portfolio Review Day for regional high school students to share their art portfolios with representatives from Mansfield University, Bloomsburg University, and Lycoming College’s fine art departments.

An opening reception for the group exhibition, “Timelines”, will take place in Studio 15 on the 2nd floor from 6pm–9pm. “Timelines” is a multi-media exhibition examining self-portraiture from the perspectives of five Pajama Factory artists — Dan Berberich, Karen Goodridge, Angela Nichols, Brian James Spies, and Ralph Wilson.

BΛTHVS will be releasing their handmade Autumn 2016 bath & body products at their open studio on the fourth floor. Fancy cheeses & wine provided, as well as a few other snacks. Come talk to them, sniff soaps, snack, and try product samples!

Medusa, Studio 3 on the 2nd fl will have a variety of terrariums and accessories for sale, as well as a new line of concrete leaf soap dishes and bowls. Also featuring one of a kind jewelry and barrettes hand crafted from clay and resin.

Strangeheart Studio will be open for the evening. Handcrafted porcelain and clay jewelry, incense burners, meditation labyrinths, and candleholders. Several one of a kind pieces for your home, and acrylic paintings. All at studio 54 on the 2nd fl.

Way Cool Beans on the ground floor will be hosting live music by Chloe Taylor and Atom Gallup. Stop down for a fresh iced tea, or iced coffee, and relax with some tunes 😉

Pasta by Deb on the ground floor will be featuring a variety of hand crafted pastas in different flavors. Try a seasonal favorite herb infused basil pasta. We’re also featuring spinach and organic white in three widths. Or try the lemon pasta which is great with fish or chicken! A tri-colored combination of beet, white and spinach is a popular choice which also includes a recipe. Visit our shop to experience all of the pastabilities!
