Interested in shooting some new scenery? Join the Williamsport Community Darkroom on a trip to the 21st Annual Old-Time Fiddlers’ Gathering at Watkins Glen. Enjoy the music at the ‘Gathering’ and bring along your camera and hiking shoes.
Cost: $8 per carload to admission to the park, to be divided by all occupants, plus a donation to the driver to cover gas. Music is free.
Carpool cars will leave the Pajama Factory at 9 A.M., and return around 7 P.M. We will coordinate drivers each day depending on demand. Reservations required for planning purposes. RSVP by June 15.
Film users shooting with black and white will receive a gift certificate for two free hours of darkroom use. We also have a limited number of film cameras available for rental and black and white film at discounted prices.

A casual and celebratory reception featuring the artwork from the Public Art Academy's summer Artists-in-Residence. Come see the work these talented artists produced during their summer with the program.
The Summer 2010 Artist-in-Residence Program is designed to provide both emerging and established visual artists a place to grow creatively, as they work freely within the 300,000 square feet of rejuvenated industrial building that is the Pajama Factory.

The Pajama Factory is "home" to a number of photographers who use space for creative and professional studios.
August's First Friday will feature fine art photography from these and other professional and amateur photographers. And while you're there, check out the Williamsport Community Darkroom, a facility available for public use, dedicated to the art of black and white photography.
The Pajama Factory will also debut a new wing of studios, built in response to the incredible demand for studio space in this growing creative space!
