Talking with Shana of Bathvs

We’re always happy to see our tenants build and expand their business here. One example is Bathvs, a soap and body products company that started right here and is now getting some national recognition. Shana, the creator of Bathvs, was recently interviewed by the country’s leading soapmaker’s blog–there are some beautiful photos of her Pajama Factory studio and a nice mention of the creative community at the Pajama Factory!

Shana sells her soap both online and through retail locations, as well as at our own Farmers and Artisans Winter Market each Saturday from 10:00 to 2:00.

Talking with Shana of Bathvs

A few weeks ago, we received a kind message on Facebook from Shana of Bathvs (pronounced Bath-us). Shana was the winner of our Facebook Photo of the Week in June of 2014, and explained to us how the win encouraged her to push forward with her business.

BATHVS

Shana Eichenberg is a tenant who’s used her space in the Pajama Factory to build her bath, body and hair care business from the ground up.

Bathvs, (pronounced ‘bathus’) is all made by hand in her 4th floor studio, where Shana formulates the recipes, produces each batch, packages and ships orders all over the world and works on marketing, both through Facebook, Etsy and now her shiny new website. (She also sells her products at Roots Hair Studio by Karen in building 6 of the factory!)

We’re happy and proud to have Shana and Bathvs as one of our many small businesses at the Pajama Factory—we can’t wait to see what *you* will do here!

Here’s her new site—go take a look!

A match made in heaven!

We’ve been talking a lot lately about how the Pajama Factory is a great place to start a small business—there’s a tremendous amount of creative energy bouncing around within the brick walls! Here’s two more of our entrepreneurs:

On the left is Karen, who opened Roots Hair Studio on the first floor of Building Six, across the hall from Way Cool Beans. If you’ve noticed how much better-groomed all of the artists around the factory have been looking lately, Karen is the reason why. (https://www.facebook.com/RootsHairStudioByKaren)

On the right is Shana, from BATHVS, who makes a line of soaps, shampoos, conditioners and other products in her PJ Factory studio and sells them in Karen’s shop, and other places. (https://www.facebook.com/Bathvssoap)
