Due to the success of #OCTOPAS, we’re doing a version of it for the Holiday Market!
The Events Committee is introducing a studio pass into the Holiday Market. It will be similar to this year’s #OCTOPAS, but with a holiday twist. We will be paying homage to Duboistown’s Candy Cane Lane.
- Guests will enter the Community Room where they will collect their pass and head to the 4th floor.
- They will make their way along “Candy Cane Lane” which will feature Open Studios and vendors.
- Guests will need to collect 8 stamps from 8 different, featured studios and they can enter for a chance to win 1 of 3 factory-made prize package valued at over $100!
Keep the gifts for yourself or give them away as gifts to others!

Say hello to Annelise!
Annelise Latini is the powerhouse behind Clear Sphere Yoga at the Pajama Factory, a new yoga studio that has been generating a lot of excitement around here. This weekend she will be teaming up with Brittany from the Triad Center for a Chakra Balancing workshop in her welcoming, light-filled studio.
Chakra is a Sanskrit word (meaning ‘wheel,’) that describes the seven energy centers in the human body. Ideally, these energy centers are balanced, leading to a mind filled with harmony and a body that’s well-suited to dealing with the stress and struggles we all face in life. (Something we will all need going into the holidays!)
The half-day workshop will take place on Sat, Nov. 18th from 1-5pm and will feature physical poses, breathwork, meditation, and essential oils (created in collaboration with Shana of BATHVS.) Of course this is a great workshop for Yoga practitioners, teachers and energy workers, but it assumes no prior knowledge, just a willingness to learn about this ancient, yet very modern tradition.
You can find all of the details and register on the event page: http://www.chakrabalancingworkshop.ontrapages.com/november18
