Public Art Academy’s Artist-in-Residence exhibition is Friday
Despite dramatic cuts in funding, the Public Art Academy’s Artist-in-Residence program survived this year, albeit in truncated form. Whereas the program, which provides an art studio at the Pajama Factory and housing in the city for artists from across the country for a month or two during the summer, welcomed 17 artists last year, it took in just four artists this year.
