Intro to Tintypes

  • Location: Williamsport Community Darkroom
  • (e) darkroom.pjf@gmail.com

Here is a chance to try your hand at a historic photo process that was popular between 1851 and the 1880s. Starting with a blank piece of metal you will learn the basics of the wet plate collodion process to create an image.

The process was preferred by studio photographers in the period and is now reemerging as an art form.
