Comments Off on New Spring workshops at Factory Works Clay Studio
Originally called Mayfest, we recently rebranded the event to better represent what it is all about which is promoting and supporting green, sustainability initiatives! As a re-purposed, industrial building, the Pajama Factory itself is a green initiative! With over 100 artists, makers, and entrepreneurs, we believe that community IS sustainability and wanted an event to specifically celebrate just THAT.
We will feature Factory Works programs such as the Community Woodshop, Clay Studio, Sewing & Photo labs, and we will also feature local vendors who utilize green practices. Equinox LTD will be doing demos, showing their outdoor gear. The gallery will host the PA Wilds’ traveling Art Show which showcases Creative Makers from all over the region!

‘Mind Shadows’: a photographic exhibit at Lycoming College Art Gallery
Just as the body creates a shadow in bright sunshine, so can the mind create a shadow of the self. These shadows of the mind are the topic of exploration for photographer Ralph Wilson’s upcoming exhibit at the Lycoming College Art Gallery. “Mind Shadows” runs through July 22.
Wilson is currently the director of the Factory Works Gallery and the Williamsport Community Darkroom at the Pajama Factory, where he teaches black and white film photography and historic processes.
